Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Crestwood Behavioral Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations to assess patient needs and rendering accurate diagnoses.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique challenges and goals.
• Providing weekly psychotherapy sessions to an established caseload of clients, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborating on patient care with a diverse interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Performing crisis intervention as needed to support patients during critical moments.
• Adhering to established compliance guidelines, including those related to 360care policies, HIPAA regulations, and CMS standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals in a detox setting, many of whom may be struggling with co-occurring mental health issues. This population requires specialized knowledge of mental illness diagnoses and treatment, particularly concerning challenges related to substance use disorder and recovery. You will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of those facing adjustment issues and other mental health concerns, providing them with the tools needed for healing and recovery.

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in good standing.
• Strong familiarity with the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, particularly in a clinical setting.
• An understanding of geriatric psychological needs, specifically pertaining to adjustment issues and dementia.
• Proficiency in technology and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Empathy and compassion, along with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences and skills are preferred and may enhance your candidacy:

• Previous experience in a medical or long-term care environment.

Compensation and Benefits
