As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Summit Healthcare Group, you will:

• Provide a range of counseling services — including individual, family, and group therapy — tailored to meet the diverse needs of your clients.
• Utilize telehealth technology to conduct sessions and maintain patient confidentiality, enhancing accessibility to mental health care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans that identify and address clients' issues, ensuring efficient progress monitoring.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in managing mental health symptoms, navigating trauma, and addressing dual diagnosis challenges.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in counseling practices and integrate them into your therapeutic approach to enhance client outcomes.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Texas
• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients
• Technical proficiency, including reliable access to a laptop/desktop computer, internet, and webcam for remote sessions
• A commitment to working independently with a self-motivated mindset
• Completion of a background check

While the minimum qualifications reflect what we seek, candidates demonstrating additional experience in specialized therapeutic techniques, or certifications in particular therapeutic modalities, will be highly valued. Experience in a remote counseling setting is also a plus.
