• Conduct thorough assessments to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the course of treatment, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies based on observed outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to develop and implement comprehensive intervention plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients who require hospitalization, ensuring a seamless transition and continuous support.
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, assisting them in managing mental and behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones.
• Stay updated on current mental health trends and best practices to continually enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

You will work with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals across various demographics facing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is vital in helping clients navigate their struggles, utilizing therapeutic techniques that resonate with their personal experiences and cultural backgrounds.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field; a master’s degree in mental health counseling or a similar discipline is preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar clinical role.
• In-depth knowledge of the effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals, allowing for effective communication regarding client treatment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members alike.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with an empathetic and compassionate approach to client care.

• Demonstrated history of providing effective mental health counseling resulting in improved client outcomes.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with remote counseling platforms and related technologies.
