Job description

Lead Facilitator/Coach – Leadership Development (Military and Federal Clients)
Overview
Beta Systems International (BSI) is building a bench of Lead Facilitators for leadership development, mentoring, and coaching programs delivered to military and federal government clients. This posting is not tied to a single contract. BSI is collecting qualified candidates now so that it can staff new task orders as they are awarded.
Positions are contingent on contract award. BSI will contact candidates when a specific opportunity opens and will confirm location, schedule, and start date at that time. Work may take place in person on a military installation, online, or in a hybrid format that combines both. The job is posted as remote, as many contracts allow remote work; however, if a job is in-person in your region, we will contact you and assess your willingness for in-person work.
What This Role Does
  • Deliver leadership development, mentoring, and coaching sessions to military or civilian government personnel.
  • Facilitate training in person, online, and in hybrid sessions that combine both formats.
  • Prepare and present curriculum material, including agendas, slides, and participant handouts.
  • Coach individual participants and mentoring pairs on goal-setting and professional growth.
  • Adapt facilitation style to a range of audiences, from new supervisors to senior leaders.
  • Track participant engagement and report session outcomes to the program team.
Mandatory Qualifications
Candidates must meet every qualification below to join the bench.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in adult learning, leadership development, or facilitation.
  • Direct experience facilitating both virtual and in-person or hybrid training sessions.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring individuals in a professional development setting.
  • A bachelor's degree and four additional years of relevant facilitation experience.
  • The ability to pass a background check and obtain access to a government or military installation, if the assignment requires it.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
The qualifications below are not required. Candidates who meet them will stand out.
  • Prior experience working with a military branch, the Department of Defense (DoD), or another federal agency.
  • A professional certification in training, coaching, or talent development, such as the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) credential from the Association for Talent Development (ATD), or a coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
  • Familiarity with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and digital accessibility standards.
  • A master's degree in organizational development, adult education, or a related field.
  • Experience designing curriculum tailored to the needs of the audience.
  • Active or prior DoD Common Access Card (CAC) or comparable federal credential.
How to Join the Bench
Apply by adding resume and answering required questions. Joining the bench does not guarantee an assignment. BSI will reach out when a contract award creates an opening that matches your background.
