Overview:
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for driving sales effectiveness and operational excellence across the commercial organization. You will partner closely with sales leadership, finance, marketing and product teams to own forecasting, CRM governance, pipeline management, sales analytics, process optimization and sales enablement initiatives that improve productivity, accuracy and revenue growth.
Scope:
Act as the strategic business partner to Inside Sales and Business Development teams, driving operational excellence, ensuring adherence to Blue Yonder Rules of Engagement (RoE), and enabling a buyerdriven, dataled sales process. This role is accountable for aligning planning, execution, and governance to support pipeline growth, deal execution, and revenue outcomes.
What you will do:
  • Maintain and optimize CRM (e.g., Salesforce) configuration, data quality, user adoption and process flows
  • Drive accurate, timely sales forecasting and pipeline reporting for leadership and quarterly/annual planning
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPIs and regular performance reports (Power BI/Tableau/Excel)
  • Lead territory design, quota allocation and compensation plan administration in partnership with HR/Finance
  • Standardize and document sales processes (lead-to-cash, opportunity stages, handoffs) and champion continuous improvement
  • Support sales enablement: onboarding, playbooks, proposal/quote templates and training for tools and process changes
  • Manage CPQ and quoting process, integrations and automation.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on deal slippage, forecasting variance, win/loss and churn drivers
  • Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to measure and optimize lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close conversion rates
  • Manage ad hoc analytics and business cases to support strategic commercial initiatives and senior leadership decisions
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects
  • Mentor and develop junior Sales Ops staff

What we are looking for:

  • 4-7+ years experience in sales operations, revenue operations, sales analytics or related role supporting B2B enterprise sales
  • Previous experience with Inside Sales and/or BDR organisations essential
  • Proven experience administering a CRM platform (Salesforce preferred); familiarity with CPQ, ERP integrations is a plus
  • Strong analytics skills - proficient with Excel and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau) and comfortable with SQL for data queries
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and present to senior stakeholders
  • Strong program and project management skills; experience implementing process improvements and driving change across teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 - $132,738.45 USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
