Fair View Mental and Psychological Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. • Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet patient needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and mindfulness practices.
• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individual progress and circumstances.
• Provide referrals to specialists or other resources as necessary to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training, staying updated on best practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Document patient interactions comprehensively in accordance with organizational policies, ensuring all records are maintained accurately and confidentially.

Your primary focus will be on individuals, couples, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will employ a therapeutic approach tailored to the unique situations of your clients, emphasizing empowerment and providing them with the tools to achieve better mental health.

• Must possess a valid LMFT license to practice in Connecticut.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling and best practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to engage and motivate clients.
• A collaborative spirit, with excellent teamwork abilities to work effectively in a virtual environment.

• Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Previous work with diverse populations, particularly in culturally sensitive contexts.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling techniques.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, determined by experience and credentials. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
