Job description

Role: Salesforce Commerce Cloud -Sr. SFCC Backend Engineer
Duration:- 6+ Months
Location- Remote
Rate : Depends on Experience

Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain SFCC backend functionalities, including business logic and customizations.
SFRA Implementation: Extend and optimize SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) for backend services.
API & Integration Management: Develop and maintain integrations with third-party services, including payment gateways, OMS etc.
Performance Optimization: Improve SFCC backend performance through caching strategies and best coding practices.
Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
Code Reviews & Best Practices: Enforce high coding standards, review code quality, and mentor developers.
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve backend performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and technical bottlenecks.
Collaboration: Work with frontend developers, designers, and product/project managers to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Stay Updated: Keep up with SFCC advancements, best practices, and emerging backend technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in SFCC development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and SFCC server-side development.
Experience with SFCC Business Manager, Jobs, Pipelines, and Controllers.
Expertise in Commerce API, OCAPI, and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
Experience working with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
