You will practice across a network of Level I, II, and III trauma centers with a genuine teaching culture, 1:1 resident pairing on ED shifts, and iCollaborate powering seamless case interaction. Customizable FTE models, remote and hybrid reading options, and schedules posted 90 days in advance make this a group built for sustainable, long-term practice.
Position Highlights
  • Specialty: Emergency Radiology; BC/BE Radiologists across all subspecialties considered
  • Practice Setting: Multi-site urban health system - Level I, II, and III trauma centers, tertiary academic, and community hospital environments
  • Sites: Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital (Level III), Harper University Hospital (tertiary academic), Detroit Receiving Hospital (Level I), Sinai-Grace Hospital (Level II)
  • Shift Options (all 8-hour, EST):
    • Days: ON SITE -7a-3p | 200 shifts/year | Weekend coverage 1:5 with residents | 12-weeks of PTO
    • Mids: 12p-8p | 200 shifts/year | Weekend coverage 1:5; shift premium offered | 12-weeks of PTO
    • Eves: 3p-11p | 1 week on / 1 week off; shift premium offered
    • Nights: 11p-7a | 1 week on / 1 week off; shift premium offered
  • Patient Volume: Median 100-110 cases per day across shifts
  • Schedule Predictability: All schedules posted 90 days in advance
  • Remote/Hybrid: Remote or hybrid reading options available across all shifts except 7a-3p
  • Teaching: ACGME-accredited residency with 6 residents per year; 1:1 pairing on ED shifts
  • Subspecialties in Group: Neuroradiology, MSK, Body Imaging, Pediatric, Nuclear Medicine, IR, Breast/Women's Imaging, Emergency Radiology, and Diagnostic Radiology
  • IR Support: Four Physician Assistants supporting Interventional Radiology
  • FTE Flexibility: Customizable contracts from 0.6-1.0 FTE
  • Technology: iCollaborate platform for case assignment, image sharing, and live attending-resident interaction

Candidate Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in Radiology
  • Subspecialty training across one or more of the following: Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Body Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Breast and Women's Imaging, Emergency Radiology, or Diagnostic Radiology
  • Commitment to resident education, quality improvement, and a team-first approach to practice
