Job description

Own the strategy, execution, and market success of MatrixSpace’s core radar products.

MatrixSpace develops AI-enabled radar and sensing systems that help people understand what’s happening in the world around them. By combining advanced radar, edge computing, and AI, we deliver situational awareness in environments where traditional sensing solutions struggle.

We're looking for a highly technical, customer-focused Product Manager to own MatrixSpace's radar product portfolio. This role is much more than roadmap management. You'll be responsible for the success of the product, working alongside engineering, customers, operations, and leadership to define priorities, make difficult tradeoffs, and drive execution with urgency. You'll partner closely with our radar engineering leaders on the development of next-generation radar systems while also owning existing production products.

We're looking for someone who naturally thinks like an owner—someone who wants to be accountable for the product's success from concept through customer deployment.

What You'll Do

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, execution, and commercial success of MatrixSpace's radar product portfolio across current and next-generation products.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, translating operational needs into product requirements and technical priorities.
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership to drive product development, make technical tradeoffs, and keep cross-functional teams aligned and moving with urgency.
  • Lead day-to-day execution by tracking progress, identifying risks, removing blockers, and ensuring key development programs stay on schedule.
  • Balance customer feedback, technical constraints, manufacturing considerations, and business priorities to deliver successful products from concept through deployment.
  • Support product launches, customer engagements, field evaluations, and the long-term evolution of the radar product family.

What We're Looking For

This position requires working directly or indirectly with the US Government in restricted environments. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and may be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance in the future.

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience owning complex technical products.
  • Experience managing products that combine hardware and software, such as electronics, embedded systems, telecommunications infrastructure, networking equipment, RF systems, industrial equipment, robotics, or similar technologies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to earn credibility and make informed decisions alongside hardware, software, and systems engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to customer sites, demonstrations, and industry events.

Someone Who Will Thrive in This Role...

  • Takes complete ownership and naturally drive outcomes without waiting for direction.
  • Builds credibility with engineers while remaining relentlessly focused on customer needs.
  • Enjoys operating at both the strategic and tactical levels, from long-term product vision to day-to-day execution.
  • Creates urgency, make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information, and care deeply about delivering exceptional products.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with radar, RF systems, telecommunications infrastructure, embedded computing, or other complex electronics products.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, or Counter-UAS.
  • Military or operational experience using mission-critical technology, particularly in air defense, border security, or related environments.
  • Experience taking highly technical products from concept through production.

While our focus is always on solving the mission at hand and understanding the broader context, the person in this role will wake up every day thinking about how to make our radar a better fit for the market.

At MatrixSpace, Product Management is where customer insight, technology innovation, and business impact come together. You’ll help define the future of AI-enabled radar solutions while enabling teams across the company to deliver products that solve meaningful real-world challenges.
