POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the VP of Field Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving regional business goals by expanding sales through new and existing customers within an assigned territory. To thrive in this role the RSM will leverage their solutions-selling skills and channel partner management experience, in tandem with their industry and customer knowledge within the territory to implement innovative and progressive strategies to yield new business opportunities. The RSM will be responsible for expanding our customer's understanding of Solve's portfolio of products by leveraging and developing our independent manufacturer sales representative's relationships, as well as flexing their product knowledge through their own sales efforts. **This position is fully remote, and can sit anywhere in: IL, MN, WI, SD, ND, IA, NE, MO or KS States**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accountable for the region's sales growth and profitability
  • Use sales and market data to forecast regional goals, market and industry trends, and opportunities for growth to create the regional sales strategy
  • Stay abreast of evolving industry and market trends, as well as potential gaps in current Solve product offerings, and subsequently make strategic recommendations to company leadership for future product development
  • Foster independent manufacturer sales representative's relationships, to leverage their buy-in and ability to best champion for Solve products
  • Conduct onsite meetings and presentations and consult with current clients to identify opportunities to promote and upsell new products, as well as troubleshoot and problem-solve any customer issues

  • Manage pricing solutions for the region, and make recommendations for price adjustments accordingly
  • Partner with the Product Management, Marketing and Engineering Teams to create strategy around promoting the organization's "best-in-class" product lines through company communication, trade show and networking events
  • 60+% travel is required to attend key customer meetings, prospecting new leads, trade shows and industry events
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 60% and an active/valid driver's license
  • 5+ years of industrial sales experience
  • 3+ years of industrial sales management experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills; specifically Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bearings and power transmission industry experience
  • Experience working with a CRM
