Remote Customer Service Associate

Location: Fully Remote
Pay Rate: $18-$21 per hour (Pay is dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Customer Service Associate to support patients recently discharged from the hospital. This position is primarily focused on high-volume outbound patient outreach, helping patients schedule follow-up appointments, coordinating ongoing care, and connecting patients with the appropriate internal departments and care teams.

The ideal candidate is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, has strong communication and computer skills, and is experienced working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Make approximately 120 outbound calls per day, averaging 15 calls per hour, to patients recently discharged from the hospital.
  • Contact patients to provide support with scheduling follow-up appointments and coordinating ongoing care.
  • Transfer patients to the appropriate internal departments or care teams based on their scheduling and care coordination needs.
  • Assist with inbound calls and respond to patient questions as needed.
  • Document patient interactions accurately and ensure relevant information is communicated to the appropriate care teams.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound patient outreach to support successful transitions of care.
  • Provide professional, compassionate, and effective communication during every patient interaction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while following applicable patient privacy and confidentiality requirements.

Employees will be assigned to one of the following schedules:

  • Tuesday-Friday: 5:00 PM-1:30 AM PST; Saturday: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM PST
    Sunday/Monday: Off
  • Tuesday-Friday: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM PST; Saturday: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM PST
    Sunday/Monday: Off
  • Monday-Friday: 9:30 AM-6:00 PM PST
    Weekends: Off
  • Monday-Thursday: 9:30 AM-6:00 PM PST; Saturday: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM PST
    Friday/Sunday: Off
  • Monday-Thursday: 5:00 PM-1:30 AM PST; Saturday: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM PST

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of outbound calling experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Demonstrated experience handling 100+ calls per day.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal care teams.
  • No time off during the first 90 days.
