This position allows for a fully remote work setting, enabling you to fulfill your role as a mental health clinician from the comfort of your own home. However, you will be directly impacting students, working closely with educators and school staff to foster a supportive environment. You will utilize telehealth platforms and digital tools that facilitate effective communication and intervention strategies while adhering to the highest standards of confidentiality.

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling tailored to the needs of students experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and schools, ensuring the integration of services and continuity of care.
• Conduct assessments, utilizing evidence-based screening tools to evaluate the mental health needs of students.
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support and resources during times of emotional distress.
• Monitor progress and treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary in response to client needs and feedback.
• Facilitate workshops and educational sessions aimed at promoting mental wellness and resilience among students and staff.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case reviews and collaborative strategies for improving client care and agency services.
• Ensure timely documentation of sessions and maintain accurate records consistent with agency policies and compliance standards.
• Assist in the evaluation and improvement of program offerings by participating in quality assurance initiatives and data collection efforts.
• Maintain on-call availability for urgent matters as assigned, providing support to clients and parents when immediate intervention is necessary.

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will work closely with diverse populations, offering culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each student. Your work will directly contribute to improving student well-being, academic success, and overall quality of life.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues, best practices in therapy, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client information efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to professional ethics and continuous personal development in the mental health field.

• Experience with telehealth practices and digital mental health interventions.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches.
• Background in school-based counseling or community mental health settings.
• Proven ability to engage with and build rapport with diverse populations.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
