We are seeking a QA Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and overall excellence of our software products and systems. This role involves a proactive approach to testing, defect identification, and close collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations. The QA Analyst's primary objectives are to guarantee that all deliverables meet established business requirements and quality standard before release, while also contributing to continuous improvement in our QA practices.

This role is remotely based, with east coast working hours. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization.

Your impact:

  • Review and understand user requirements to ensure that requirements are testable. Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts on multiple projects of varying size.
  • Assess functionality, performance, reliability, and stability of the system through manual or automated testing.
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the test process and verify that the finished configuration can support the user's business process.
  • Interact with our database and source code when applicable/needed.
  • Collaborate closely with developers on testing results and issues found.

About you:

  • 3+ years' experience performing manual QA testing.
  • 3+ years' experience working closely with a software development team.
  • Experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred)
  • Solid understanding of business processes, needs, and perspectives.
  • Meticulous approach to work with an aptitude for solving problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Jira is a plus
