Job description

Quality Engineer responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability/ stability, and compatibility with other legacy and/or external systems. This position employs testing and collaboration with technical peers to accomplish assignments. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodology is highly preferred.
Required Skills
Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met
Experience with code-based test automation suite such as Selenium, Katalon is required
• Write, manage and execute test plans
• Design, write and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Leverage JIRA, SQL, and other testing tools in the execution of Quality Assurance activities
• Gain understanding of the operating environment, business processes, and application functionality
• Experience with Mobile testing on different platforms and operating systems
• Experienced with use of test tools used in a DevOps environment
• Author the Test Suite - test scenarios and test cases traceable to requirements in order to validate the application deliverables
• Validate data and reports using SQL and other tools (where needed)
• Report QA metrics and testing status
• Identify, document, and track issues found during testing
• Coordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues
• Participate and occasionally lead discussions in team meetings
• Contribute to performance testing tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor’s degree  
Required Years of Experience
• 3- 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Preferred Skills
Working knowledge of Quality testing and business process analysis, concepts, practices, and procedures in the Agile / DevOps environment. Ability to demonstrate a certain
degree of creativity combined with analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team. May assist and guide junior staff as necessary
• experience with modern languages such as JavaScript, C#, PHP, Python etc.
• experience with build automation technologies like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. Experience with AWS, Docker, Swagger
