You will be working in a fully remote setting, leveraging telehealth technology to engage with clients across Rochester, New York. Our virtual platform ensures that you can connect with patients conveniently, providing essential therapy sessions and assessments right from your home. While our core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we offer some flexibility to accommodate patient needs, ensuring you can maintain a work-life balance.

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences, which allows for the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, family, and group therapy sessions, while taking into account the cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances of patients.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care, enhancing treatment efficacy.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources to empower their mental health journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Actively participate in case conferences and contribute insights during team meetings, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health therapy, incorporating these insights into your therapeutic approach.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and cultural competence in therapy practices.
• Demonstrable experience delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills combined with the ability to maintain poise in challenging situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for proper documentation and management.
• Commitment to ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is highly preferred, as this will enhance your ability to adapt quickly in our dynamic service delivery model.
• Knowledge of community resources and social service networks to assist patients with added support and interventions.
• Previous involvement in activities that promote cultural humility and community engagement will be a significant asset.

Pure Insight Counseling Services offers competitive yearly compensation ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
