Calm Soul Mental Health Counseling P.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position, primarily supporting our Detox Center. This role is critical in enhancing the lives of individuals and families as we focus on empowering marginalized populations. Work Environment

This role operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while serving clients from our Detox Center. You will engage directly with families through virtual consultations, assessments, and support services, ensuring individualized care and safety compliance from a distance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for children and families, addressing their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes as an active participant in team meetings, utilizing data to inform care strategies and adjustments.
  • Provide direct support and coaching to families, equipping them with skills and resources that promote their child’s developmental progress.
  • Uphold compliance with all federal and state regulations related to mental health services, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in developing plans tailored to each child’s needs, respecting the values and goals of their families.
  • Encourage a positive and engaging learning environment, building rapport with children and their families to foster trust and cooperation.
  • Report on service delivery and outcomes, continually assessing the effectiveness of interventions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with children in early intervention programs, specifically focusing on those with disabilities or delays. Your responsibilities will involve guiding families through assessments and interventions that target the critical early years of child development. Your role is vital in providing families with the support needed to navigate the complexities of developmental challenges, utilizing natural learning environments to foster growth and learning through real-life interactions.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure by the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A valid driver's license is required for potential on-site visits or case collaboration.
  • Proficiency in adapting interventions and learning modalities to meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to balance caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
