Job description

Join our Team - Be part of our story!

We are looking for part-time or full-time California licensed therapists to work with us in our increasing number of referrals from all ages (6 and older). We have two offices in Perris and in Hemet, California.

We prefer therapists with experience in individual and group therapy, if already credentialed with insurance companies like IEHP, Tricare, and MHN they can start immediately.

We presently see many of our clients on video through telehealth and we are expanding this facility and can hire mental health professionals in different locations providing these services. We use EHR (Electronic Health Record) therefore, the therapists can be located anywhere in California, we provide secretarial support, billing services, and assistance with record keeping. Currently, we have eight psychologists, two LMFT's, and four psychological assistants.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
  • Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
  • Provide prevention-oriented therapy
  • Implement and review treatment plans
  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health therapy or other related fields
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong leadership qualities

Company Description

The City of the Heart Psychological Services, A Professional Corporation, has been providing mental health services to nearby Riverside County communities since 2017. We currently have offices in Hemet, Perris, and Temecula.
