This position is entirely remote, enabling our Licensed Clinical Social Workers to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes or chosen workspace. You will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient care and professional development, utilizing electronic health records and telehealth platforms to efficiently manage patient interactions and documentation.

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing major mental health issues and emotional disorders, which may include depression, anxiety, and grief related to terminal illnesses.
• Engage with clients through teletherapy sessions, working to establish a positive rapport, trust, and emotional support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments, risk evaluations, and crisis management interventions, ensuring clients’ emotional and psychological safety.
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate and timely records.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development courses to stay updated with the latest practices and enhance your clinical skills.

Your focus will be on serving clients in a hospice care environment, where you will address the complex emotional and psychological needs of patients and their families during a critical phase of life. You will provide empathetic support and therapeutic interventions aimed at improving their mental wellness, helping them cope with end-of-life issues, and facilitating discussions around advanced care planning.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is a must, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practice and ethical standards.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas is required to legally provide therapeutic services.
• Expert knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and families.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple clients and workloads effectively.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with individuals facing serious mental health challenges or in a hospice/palliative care setting is highly preferred, equipping you with the essential skills to navigate sensitive client interactions.

• The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
