This remote position allows you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while reaching clients in Overland Park, Kansas, and beyond. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and diagnostic interviews, to gain insight into clients’ needs.
• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and cultural backgrounds, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in one-on-one, couple, family, and group sessions.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for clients in acute distress.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, following regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, equipping them with tools and knowledge to manage their conditions effectively.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to facilitate a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes through assessments, adapting treatment plans as necessary to meet client needs.
• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health to continually enhance your clinical practice.
• Adhere to professional ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and a high level of care at all times.

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. • A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and client management.
• Experience in telehealth services is highly preferred but not required.
• A background working with trauma-informed care practices is a plus.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
