Compass Mental Health Center is seeking dedicated Mental Health Therapists to join our compassionate team in providing remote psychological services. This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still being connected to a supportive and collaborative team. Our work-from-home structure offers a modern and comfortable setting for deliverables while maintaining strong communication via telehealth platforms and online teamwork tools.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand client needs and develop strategic, individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions for clients.
• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, addressing common mental health challenges and creating a community of support.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care experience, ensuring that treatment is coordinated and effective across disciplines.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, effectively managing urgent client situations and connecting clients with resources during crisis situations.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Help educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methods, and community resources to empower their understanding and engagement in the process.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including case consultations and team discussions, to foster growth and improvement in therapeutic practices.

Your clientele will encompass a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. We aim to empower patients of all backgrounds to reclaim their lives through effective therapy that meets their unique needs. Our work frequently involves clients with complex histories, requiring sensitivity and adaptability to foster trust and healing.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Robust knowledge of various mental health disorders and an understanding of a range of treatment modalities.
• Proven skills in conducting comprehensive assessments and crafting effective treatment strategies.
• Strong interpersonal communication abilities, crucial for developing relationships with clients and participating in interdisciplinary teamwork.

• Experience in a mental health outpatient setting, particularly with vulnerable populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and competency in using virtual platforms for therapy.
• Previous involvement in community outreach initiatives or support workshops.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
