This full-time telehealth position enables counselors to maintain a healthy work/life balance while serving clients across different locations. Our supportive administrative team manages credentialing services, appointment scheduling, and billing processes, allowing counselors to focus primarily on their therapeutic work. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Brevard Family Counseling Services, you will:

• Manage a caseload of diverse clients, building positive therapeutic relationships grounded in professional ethics and standards.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, address concerns, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that empower clients to reach their mental health goals.
• Document detailed session notes and update progress in accordance with best practices and compliance regulations.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and formulate appropriate therapeutic strategies.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions each week, tailoring approaches to fit the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients, ensuring holistic support.
• Participate in ongoing supervisory consultations to refine clinical skills and enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

This role primarily serves youth and adolescents facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. Our approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, reinforcing the belief that effective therapy is client-focused and collaborative.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
