About The Job You're Considering

The Lead Solution Architect (LSA) plays a critical role in shaping, framing, and communicating client solutions in the CIS Pre-Sales and Solutioning organization.  This role is ideal for a high-potential solution professional who combines strong communication skills, structured thinking, and emerging technical depth, and who is eager to grow into broader solution leadership over time. As the LSA, you will actively support business development initiatives by leading the opportunity presales solution team and building robust, optimized, cost effective and victory-oriented solutions for CIS services. You will work closely with sales and different CIS senior stakeholders onshore and offshore as well as directly with our clients.

Your Role
  • Typically involved from Deal Qualification through Contract Signature, and for a limited period in the transition execution to provide continuity
  • Structures ambiguous client inputs into clear problem statements and outcomeoriented solution narratives
  • Translates customer business challenges into technically sound, commercially viable solutions
  • Helps align technical solution design to clientdefined outcomes, value levers, and success metrics
  • Owns coordination of client requirements are analyzed and distributed for solutioning, without gaps or duplication
  • Designs the solution and ensures the relevant solution artifacts are completed in line with global process
  • Responsible for development of the end-to-end solution (Transformation, Transition and Run) covering multiple service lines and/or technology domains
  • Develops solution & response strategy, standard versus non-standard approach, aligned to the sales strategy. Clearly communicates to all bid team members
  • Works with cross-functional areas to define Price to Win and create pricing structures
  • Supports Tower Lead with 3rd parties' direct engagements when needed
  • Contributes to proposal writing and guides the bid team on alignment to sales strategy, themes, and scoring mechanism, leveraging AI where possible
  • Leads the solution team in all client facing interactions
  • Reviews and inputs to the contract schedules, SoW, and SLAs among other documents, leveraging AI where possible
  • Supports Commercial Lead with negotiation of solution related schedules (SoW, SLAs, etc.)
  • Leads solution team and ensures solution related deliverables are completed
  • Identifies and adds to the response and other capabilities that will bring value to the opportunity and/or show Capgemini capability
Your Skills And Experience
  • 5 to 10+ years of experience in infrastructure services, presales, solution design, or service delivery roles, with increasing responsibility across client engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new domains, synthesize complex information, and communicate clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Uses AI as a thinking partner to accelerate understanding of client environments, synthesize inputs, and improve solution quality
  • Applies AI to draft, refine, and stress test proposal narratives, solution approaches, and value stories
  • Demonstrates sound judgment on where AI assists versus where human expertise and decision making are required

1.Customer Engagement:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, outcome oriented narratives for client proposals and presentations
  • Comfortable presenting ideas at varying levels of depth-from executive storytelling to solution rationale
  • Able to articulate both transformational and managed services elements of deals
  • Ability to articulate value, benefits, storyline to client
  • Strong writing skills, leveraging AI

2.Leadership:

  • Leadership of the solution team on deal; ability to coach, steer, challenge, guide - support in case of challenges or if tower lead is struggling
  • Strong team leader to manage and coach team through tough deadlines

3.Commercial:

  • Ability to link technical aspects of solution with commercial response
  • Ability to understand contract documents and to draft solution related contract schedules

4.Financial: 

  • Support Client business case creation
  • Familiar with TBM or other ITFM frameworks

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $94,248 - $215,050.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
