Job description

Landmark Property Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Accountant to support the financial operations of our multifamily housing portfolio. This role is responsible for month-end close, bank reconciliations, owner distributions, mortgage reporting, financial statement preparation, and other accounting functions.

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and resolve Positive Pay exceptions and upload Positive Pay files.
  • Process utility payments and Conservice requests.
  • Perform month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, tenant receivables, security deposits, and escrow accounts.
  • Prepare monthly financial packages and owner distributions.
  • Record mortgage payments and complete mortgage verifications.
  • Process insurance and real estate tax payments.
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and audit items.
  • Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and special projects.
  • Calculate DSCR and prepare Reserve Replacement schedules as needed.
