To overcome these, it's helpful to establish a dedicated workspace, use productivity tools to track deadlines, and set regular check-ins with collaborators. Additionally, developing a structured routine and leveraging digital collaboration platforms can greatly enhance workflow and minimize misunderstandings.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Editor based in Netherlands.

This role is designed for an editorial professional who combines strong content expertise with a passion for AI-driven marketing innovation.
You will help shape a modern content ecosystem focused on improving visibility across search engines and AI-powered platforms.
The position blends editorial excellence, content operations, AI workflow development, and digital growth strategy.
You will build scalable processes that improve content quality, accuracy, discoverability, and long-term performance.
Working closely with marketing leadership and content teams, you will influence how audiences discover and engage with valuable product insights.
This is an opportunity to join a remote-first environment where experimentation, ownership, and continuous learning are highly encouraged.

Accountabilities:

The Content Editor will own content quality, AI-powered content operations, and visibility strategies while ensuring that published materials are accurate, impactful, and optimized for modern discovery channels.

  • Develop and execute Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI Optimization (AIO) strategies to improve visibility across AI-powered search platforms.
  • Monitor brand presence, citation performance, and AI platform visibility, transforming insights into actionable content improvements.
  • Build and maintain AI-assisted content workflows using tools such as Claude or similar platforms for drafting, editing, tagging, and updating content.
  • Establish quality standards, review processes, and checkpoints to ensure AI-generated content remains accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Manage content refresh processes to maintain performance, relevance, and visibility of existing content libraries.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and manage freelance writers, agencies, video contributors, and AI agents supporting content production.
  • Create detailed content briefs, outlines, and editorial guidance for writers and contributors.
  • Proofread, edit, and quality-check all content before publication to ensure clarity, accuracy, and strong editorial standards.
  • Coach writers by providing actionable feedback and helping improve content quality over time.
  • Support digital community growth initiatives, including maintaining a presence in relevant online communities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content stakeholders on strategy, research, topics, formats, and content priorities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong editorial experience combined with hands-on knowledge of AI content workflows, SEO, and digital marketing operations. They should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple content initiatives independently.

  • Proven hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools to create and optimize content workflows.
  • Practical understanding of AEO, GEO, and AIO concepts and their impact on digital visibility.
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, editing, and content quality assurance skills.
  • Experience creating B2B SaaS content or working in a technology-focused content environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization strategies.
  • Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Previous experience managing freelance writers, agencies, contractors, or AI-assisted content contributors.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback, coach contributors, and maintain high editorial standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with WordPress, content management platforms, AI visibility tools, technical SEO audits, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Previous experience building AI-powered content operations or working in a fast-paced digital environment is preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with quarterly performance-based bonuses.
  • Clear career progression opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience working with emerging AI content technologies.
  • Opportunity to contribute to innovative digital marketing and content strategies.
  • Fully remote work environment.
