Job description

Overview

The Content Writer will create branded, user-focused copy for RealPage clients while upholding internal copy best practices, including SEO. This position requires interdepartmental collaboration and the ability to work daily on multiple projects at one time. Projects will include - but are not limited to - web content, sales collateral, and creative brand writing. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the creation of quality content that differentiates our clients' brands and will depend on the individual's ability to manage a constant workflow, collaborate across teams and departments, meet deadlines, and understand and implement SEO strategies, all while working with a positive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Creates unique and engaging brand-specific written content that drives lead generation, including but not limited to: Website copy, marketing content, and sales collateral, as well as content for brands and tone & voice guidelines
  • Manages workflow efficiently and completes projects on deadline
  • Proofreads writing for style, grammar, tone, and internal best practices
  • Researches and gathers information to produce relevant, location-specific content
  • Effectively translates edits and feedback from clients and internal teams to improve copy
  • Collaborates with brand strategists and design team on content strategy and layout of custom websites
  • Is in constant search of ways to improve collaboration, communication, and workflow
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by manager
Qualifications
  • BA in English, journalism, or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of professional writing experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Proficiency in researching and writing informative copy with little to no supervision
  • Experience utilizing SEO strategies in digital content
  • Proofreading skills and an eye for detail
  • Command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Understanding of style and adapting content to context
  • Ability to take feedback with grace and poise
  • Proficiency in AP style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with AI prompts and platforms preferred
