In this role, you'll do more than review plans and coordinate projects. You'll serve as a trusted technical resource, collaborate with industry partners, and help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and successfully from concept through completion.

Your work directly influences project execution, construction quality, cost efficiency, and the overall success of high-profile building initiatives.

Partner with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while gaining exposure to architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical design.

Develop expertise in project management, construction documentation, design coordination, value engineering, and technical problem-solving.

Help identify smarter, more efficient ways of working while contributing ideas that improve processes, quality, and project outcomes.

You'll play a key role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines, milestones, and deliverables
• Review, process, and coordinate change orders while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Ensure construction documents are complete, accurate, and aligned with project requirements
• Support project teams through all phases of planning, design, and construction

You'll be a go-to resource for solving challenges and driving project success.

• Provide technical support for remodels, renovations, special projects, and new initiatives
• Interpret construction documents, building methods, materials, and code requirements
• Troubleshoot project issues and develop practical solutions that balance quality, schedule, and cost
• Support engineering and architectural teams with technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle

Success in this role comes from collaboration.

• Serve as a key liaison between contractors, landlords, consultants, governing agencies, and internal teams
• Communicate project updates, design changes, and technical information clearly and effectively
• Foster strong working relationships across multiple departments and project stakeholders
• Mentor and support team members, including AutoCAD specialists and project support personnel

Help create smarter and more efficient ways of delivering projects.

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve engineering processes
• Evaluate plans from a value-engineering perspective to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
• Leverage technology and industry best practices to improve project execution
• Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and operational excellence

• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction and engineering documents
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Experience supporting retail, commercial, or multi-site development projects
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering and architectural coordination
• Knowledge of construction processes, permitting, and project documentation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
