Our Charlotte, NC office is looking for a 

Project Manage

r to manage local and remote audio visual integration projects.  A client facing position, he/she is responsible for developing project objectives, project requirements and managing project risk and constraints.  Acting as a liaison between project stakeholders and resources, the Project Manager's primary function is to oversee and facilitate project communications and quality control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within Cenero's Project Management Operations framework to coordinate all aspects of assigned project deliverables
  • Develop project plans, schedules and milestones
  • Coordinate and schedule all project resources, both internal and external
  • Manage and maintain project records, electronic files and database information ensuring compliance with document management control processes
  • Oversee and update project financial plan and budget
  • Review, approve or escalate contract terms and conditions as required based on business goals
  • Direct project financial milestones and labor expenses for internal resources and subcontractors
  • Ensure that shipping, delivery and storage documentation is accurate and complete
  • Manage and monitor project risk and escalate as required
  • Provide project leadership by assuming ownership of project success
  • Participate in project meetings and site work as required by project plan
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and are documented within the project quality control process
  • Act in accordance with Cenero's core values and professionally manage stakeholder expectations
  • Oversee local projects within the Charlotte metropolitan area as well as remote project work including both national and international locations.
  • Provide onsite management for most local and remote projects
  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of project management experience, preferably in the technology field
  • Demonstrated technical project management experience as well as an in-depth understanding of acoustics, basic electric and audio visual systems is required
  • Experience dealing with customers and construction contractors is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Proficiency with MS Office and business communication tools
  • Must be willing to travel locally, nationally and internationally as needed
  • Ability to apply logical and scientific thinking to handle a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Industry certifications such as PMP, CTS and OSHA are preferred
