Summary:

Responsible for managing incoming Draw and Advance Requests from Regional Banking Customers. This role ensures customers are within their project budget and all applicable documentation is collected and retained.

This position can be held at any Huntington corporate location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Regional Banking production by managing post loan booking customer draw requests within a timely manner and may manage the pre closing collection of necessary documents.
  • Appropriately reviews and organizes pertinent documentation and information for the advance request to ensure within budget and availability of funds.
  • Adheres to policy and procedures regarding Customer callback and authentication.
  • Requests could include draw requests with more complexity and may include limited real estate or leasehold projects. Construction requests may be moderately complex (i.e. - larger leasehold projects as well as less complex ground up construction).
  • Ensures compliance with Federal Regulations related to Ground Up Construction and provides updates in business tracking systems.
  • Construction documentation review and management may be required.
  • being available to assist with training and mentoring as well as providing support for the Credit Specialist I & Credit Specialist II job families.
  • Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years' experience with business or commercial banking in a centralized lending environment or equivalent.
  • Applicant must have proven experience with managing to a project and budgeting as it relates to commercial or residential real estate.
  • Demonstrates confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels within the organization in a professional manner.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources.
  • Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality.

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
