Job description

The Senior Project Manager position is a client facing role on our Client Services team. This person will own 7-10 large-scale projects related to the operational success of 829's growth marketing, digital campaigns, and content marketing. This includes helping to build and maintain new workflows for quality control and efficiency gains. They will be responsible for all aspects of client projects to ensure the marketing strategy is coordinated, aligned, and inclusive of creating project plans, deliverables, timelines and budgets. They will work on data-driven, complex projects that aid in the success of integrated digital campaigns across inbound and outbound channels. The Senior Project Manager collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders both within and beyond marketing. The ideal candidate has proven experience maintaining relationships and managing projects for all client levels, complexity and sophistication.
What You'll Do

  • Own responsibility for all project aspects to ensure alignment and organization within the marketing department.

  • Ensure milestones are successfully met with the ability to anticipate workload and allocate/coordinate resources needed for project success.

  • Work cross-functionally to develop and manage project and campaign briefs and provide feedback on deliverables to ensure they meet the objective and raise the bar.

  • Manage team calendar which includes internal team status meetings, multiple weekly client status calls, and work review meetings.

  • Proactively contact clients to finalize project specifications and provide consultative updates throughout the project life cycle.

  • Own triage of new project requests, ensuring ClickUp tasks are submitted with all information & assets available ahead of scheduling.

  • Align with Account Managers and client to remain in full communication on the status and details of each project.

  • Lead weekly/daily status meetings with cross-functional departments to assure the coordination of all projects.

  • Lead or co-lead weekly/biweekly client meetings to define deliverable specifications and ensure strategic alignment

What You'll Bring

  • 5-7 years of project management experience in an agency, in-house, or start-up environment.

  • Expertise in at least 2+ areas within the digital advertising landscape - SEM, Paid Social Ads, SEO, analytics and attribution.

  • 2-3+ years managing paid search and social campaigns - Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn.

  • Proven track record with cross-functional collaboration and achieving high customer satisfaction.

  • Relevant experience within the digital advertising landscape and related technologies.

  • Proven ability to lead Scrum ceremonies, meeting structure, and use of industry terminology.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to grasp all department timelines that could impact project scope.

  • Comfort with business analytics and producing data-driven insights and reports.

  • Comfort managing Executive expectations and feedback.

  • Strong experience managing relationships/project management accounts for all client levels, complexity and sophistication.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
We determine compensation based on experience, demonstrated skills, and current market conditions at the time of hire to ensure fairness and consistency across roles. Actual compensation will depend on experience and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with the scope and impact of the role.
