Job Summary
Perform a lead role to manage the planning, resource coordination, scheduling, budgeting and execution of assigned projects, ensuring that projects are delivered within the planned schedule, budget, and scope.
Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the project management and project-related reporting functions within Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Prepare project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools.
  • Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Drive project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
  • Maintain and update the primary project documents to ensure current cost and schedule information.
  • Identify critical paths and roadblocks within a project and offer solutions to roadblocks.
  • Define key project constraints such as scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks and clearly communicate roles, expectations and accountabilities to team members on a regular basis.
  • Develop relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure a timely understanding of both project and financial performance.
  • Assure project quality by using standard development methodologies and by working with Quality to develop and execute project quality plans.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, required
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in project management of medical device or comparable work experience, required and
  • Any similar combination of education and experience required
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communications and time management skills
  • Working knowledge on Equipment / Process Validation and pFMEA development
  • Strong background in ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and FDA 21 CFR 820
  • Financial and accounting acumen

The annual salary for this position is:

$88,500.00 to $110,700.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
