UNCOMN is seeking an EVM Project Scheduler to support Earned Value Management System implementation and ongoing Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) management across programs. This role will help build, maintain, and analyze program schedules in alignment with EIA-748 standards and EVMS best practices.
EVMS Implementation
  • Support EVMS implementation efforts, including scheduleโ€“cost integration, WBS alignment, and baseline development
  • Assist in configuring EVMS tools (e.g., ForProject, Empower) and ensuring accurate schedule data integration across systems
  • Contribute to the development of EVMS processes, procedures, and artifacts, including scheduling standards, baseline control, and reporting cadence
  • Support Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) readiness, including schedule traceability, CAM coordination, and data validation
  • Assist in developing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in alignment with EIA-748 and DCMA expectations
  • Partner with EVMS consultants and stakeholders to ensure compliance, scalability, and audit readiness
Project Scheduling amp; EVMS Operations
  • Own and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for assigned programs, ensuring logic-driven sequencing and critical path integrity
  • Coordinate with CAMs and technical teams to collect status updates, maintain baselines, and update forecasts
  • Ensure schedule alignment with WBS, Control Accounts, and Work Packages
  • Support monthly EVMS reporting cycles, including BCWS/BCWP alignment, variance analysis, and performance reporting
  • Perform schedule health assessments using DCMA 14-point analysis and critical path evaluation
  • Identify schedule risks, dependencies, and impacts to cost, staffing, and performance
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and briefing materials for leadership and customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with CAMs, finance, engineering, and subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy and data integrity
  • Integrate subcontractor schedules into the IMS in compliance with EVMS requirements
  • Support proposal efforts through bid schedule development and timeline estimation
This is a primarily remote role, with occasional on-site support as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, engineering, project management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in EVM project scheduling for government, aerospace, defense, or complex technical programs.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling tools.
  • Working knowledge of EVMS principles, EIAโ€‘748 guidelines, and scheduleโ€‘cost integration.
  • Experience supporting or participating in EVMS implementations, IBRs, or DCMA surveillance.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate schedule insights to diverse audiences.
Preferred
  • Experience with EVMS tools such as ForProject, Cora, or Empower
  • Experience supporting DoD, NASA, DOE, or other federal programs.
  • Certifications such as PMI-SP, PMP, AACE PSP, or AACE EVP.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulation.
