Job description

Reason One is hiring a Senior Project Manager with digital agency experience to manage innovative projects for clients like Emory Healthcare, Children's Nebraska, and Beacon Health.

Healthcare is complex, deeply human work, and we're seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager who understands the operational realities of health systems and the needs of patients and communities, and delivers real results for stakeholders. You'll have an opportunity to join a growing B Corp on a mission to improve digital access and equity in healthcare.


Your role

As Senior Project Manager at Reason One, you'll be managing dynamic projects and teams following an established process. You'll put your expertise and problem solving skills to work every day, tackling a wide scope of responsibilities for medium and large scale clients. Good instinct for identifying risks is vital, and a curious, collaborative attitude is ideal.

As a Senior Project Manager you are expected to bring your ideas to the table and provide suggestions to continuously improve project management processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects on time and within budget constraints.
  • Scope and estimate budget and schedule for new work
  • Provide clear and timely status reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Project Team Leadership enabling multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver their best work
  • Monitor and manage scope creep through formal change order processes or strategic descoping to maintain project profitability and timeline commitments
  • Ensure the scope roadmap and strategy are being followed.
  • Sign-off of various deliverables (e.g.: roadmaps, designs, requirements, launch approvals) to ensure quality standards are being met.
  • Appropriate Resource Management in collaboration with fellow PMs, ADs, and the Director of Delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication (clear scope and expectation management)
  • Risk Management (documentation and mitigation strategies). Identify and manage project issues and risks in a professional and efficient manner
  • Work closely with clients or Account Directors to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for strategic growth of the account
  • Champion continuous improvement by documenting project learnings, evolving PM processes accordingly, and ensuring team-wide awareness and adoption
  • When managing an SLA without an Account Director the following responsibilities will fall on the Project Manager
    • Invoicing
    • Reporting Missing Revenue
  • Work closely with Product owners to ensure the scope roadmap adheres to the budget and schedule.
  • Foster an environment of transparency for the project team by ensuring all information is shared and accessible to all team members at any project stage
  • Ability to demonstrate Reason One's core values day to day
  • Participation in our B Corp mandate to improve our social and environmental impact through initiatives such as volunteering


Our must haves

  • 5+ years of digital project management experience in a digital agency
  • Agile methodology experience and/or scrum training
  • Clear and assertive written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines effectively
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills are essential
  • Ability to navigate and negotiate client asks, know when to advise and when to be flexible
  • In depth experience setting up, managing and reporting on budget status and profitability
  • Working knowledge of PM software for client communication, resource management and task management such as JIRA, Basecamp, and Forecast.app, or similar tools
  • Experience delivering projects on CMS platforms such as WordPress, Optimizely, Kentico, Kontent.ai, Contentful or similar
  • Experience managing large-scale digital, marketing, and website projects. Experience with composable stacks with headless platforms preferred
  • Able to understand technical jargon and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Project management certifications or completion of project management training
  • Strong desire to learn and facilitate knowledge sharing within the department and across the company
  • Experience working with health systems or healthcare organizations as a Project Manager preferred
  • Experience using AI tools in your workflow to accelerate project management activities

  • This vacancy is for a new position within the organization. We are expanding our Project Management team to serve our clients even better. The individual hired will contribute to both new client work and continuing client engagements.
