Job description

Location: New Jersey (Hybrid – 4 days/week at Middletown, NJ)

#LI-Hybrid

Department: Sales Operations

Reports To: VP of Sales Operations / Professional Services

About DriveNets

DriveNets is a leader in large-scale networking solutions for AI infrastructure and service providers. The company’s disaggregated networking architecture transforms the economics of large-scale infrastructures while maximizing performance, utilization, and operational efficiency. Its high-performance AI fabric maximizes GPU utilization and accelerates deployments by optimizing the AI stack end-to-end, resulting in higher tokens-per-second and lower cost-per-token. DriveNets’ solutions power production networks for global tier-1 operators like AT&T and Comcast, and scale multi-vendor AI infrastructures at foundation model labs, NeoClouds, and enterprises.

The Role

We are looking for a high-impact Project Manager to be the engine behind flawless software delivery for our North American service provider customers. This is not a back-office role — you will be the voice of the customer inside DriveNets and the face of DriveNets to the customer. You will own end-to-end delivery, drive cross-functional execution at pace, and continuously raise the bar on process quality and customer satisfaction.

This role demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, pivots quickly when priorities shift, and gets things done — no excuses, no delays.

Core Focus Areas

Customer Voice & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for top-tier service provider customers and strategic partners.
  • Deeply understand customer goals, constraints, and escalations — translating them into actionable priorities for internal teams.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customer team leaders and executives, conducting structured cadence meetings and business reviews.
  • Champion the customer's perspective in every internal discussion, ensuring their needs drive product delivery decisions.

End-to-End Project Management

  • Own delivery from POC through production — planning, tracking, reporting, and closing.
  • Develop detailed project plans covering development, integration, customization, and testing of DriveNets technology within customers' network and operations environments.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks with precision — using structured change management to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain real-time visibility into project health; escalate blockers early and resolve issues proactively.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including risk logs, status reports, and technical specifications.

Process Design & Continuous Improvement

  • Design, implement, and continuously refine delivery processes that support high-quality, on-time software shipments.
  • Establish repeatable frameworks for project intake, execution, and retrospective learning.
  • Identify inefficiencies across the delivery lifecycle and lead initiatives to eliminate them.
  • Contribute to the development of internal playbooks, templates, and best practices for the broader PS and Sales Operations teams.

Cross-Functional Execution & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Lead and facilitate regular project meetings with internal stakeholders across R&D, QA, Customer Success, Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and partners as needed to streamline and accelerate delivery.
  • Provide concise, executive-ready project status reporting (scorecards, dashboards, presentations) for senior leadership.
  • Support sales teams in articulating the value and business case for DriveNets Professional Services during pre-sales engagements.
  • Participate in internal sales meetings to represent project delivery status and pipeline insights.
  • Travel to customer sites across the region as required.

Requirements:

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the networking technology industry.
  • Proven track record managing mission-critical network communications projects in a service provider, large enterprise, network solutions vendor, or systems integrator environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent, complex projects under tight timelines without compromising quality.

Technical Skills

  • Solid working knowledge of networking concepts, telecom architectures, and software delivery lifecycles.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for project tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to produce executive-level deliverables — scorecards, slide decks, dashboards — to a consistently high standard.
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies; able to apply the right approach for the context.

Soft Skills & Working Style

  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments — comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Exceptional communication skills: clear, direct, and confident with both technical teams and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset — you identify problems before they become crises and drive them to resolution.
  • Natural collaborator who builds trust quickly across diverse internal and external teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable — able to reprioritize on short notice and operate effectively under pressure.

Advantage: AI Tools Proficiency

  • We are a forward-thinking engineering company, and we believe the best PMs today leverage AI to work smarter. Candidates with hands-on experience using AI tools in their day-to-day work will have a strong advantage.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Notion AI, or similar) to accelerate project planning, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to use AI tools for synthesizing meeting notes, generating status updates, drafting risk assessments, or building stakeholder communications.
  • Comfort exploring and adopting new AI productivity tools as they emerge.
  • Experience using AI for data analysis, prioritization, or decision-support in a project management context is a plus.

Additional Nice to Haves

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Familiarity with DriveNets' products or disaggregated networking architectures.
  • Experience supporting Professional Services sales motions (scoping, estimating, contracting).
  • Hands-on experience with revenue recognition, milestone billing, or collections coordination.

Why DriveNets?

  • Work on the world's most ambitious network infrastructure — literally powering the internet at scale.
  • Join a rocketship: $587M raised, proven technology, and a rapidly expanding US customer base.
  • Collaborate with world-class engineers, architects, and business leaders who care deeply about what they build.
  • Competitive compensation, hybrid flexibility, and a culture that rewards ownership and execution.
