In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex technical challenges into clear strategies, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring organizational alignment. This role will be hands-on with architecture discussions, sprint planning, and technical design reviews while simultaneously managing budgets and presenting to C-suite executives. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, has a proven track record of delivering large-scale technical programs on time and within budget, and genuinely enjoys both the technical and strategic aspects of project leadership.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Lead Strategic Technology Programs
  • Own large, complex technology initiatives with significant business impact from strategy through delivery.
  • Define vision, scope, success metrics, and execution plans in partnership with executives, stakeholders, and engineering leaders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA, vendors, and business partners.

Bridge Business and Technology
  • Serve as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives.
  • Partner in architecture reviews, delivery planning, and technical decision-making to identify risks and drive successful outcomes.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and program status clearly to executive audiences.

Drive Execution, Financials & Risk Management
  • Own program budgets, forecasts, resource planning, and investment optimization.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across multiple teams and initiatives.
  • Ensure delivery meets commitments for scope, schedule, quality, security, and compliance.

Influence Governance & Operational Excellence
  • Provide executive reporting and insights that connect technology outcomes to business value.
  • Lead governance, vendor management, and change control processes across critical initiatives.
  • Continuously improve delivery practices, operational efficiency, and PMO standards.

Develop Talent & Scale Impact
  • Mentor Project Managers and technical leaders to strengthen delivery excellence across the organization.
  • Champion process innovation, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource alignment across strategic programs.

Qualifications
What You'll Need On Day One:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in technical project/program management, or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • 5+ years managing complex technology projects involving software development, infrastructure, cloud migration, systems integration, or digital transformation
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, cloud technologies (Azure preferred), system architecture, DevOps practices, and enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience managing project financials, budgets, resources, risks, and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency with Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies, along with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in complex, matrixed organizations while balancing competing priorities.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve decision-making and delivery outcomes.
  • Travel: May require occasional travel to other facilities for coordination, technical workshops, or training.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure, networking, security, and systems integration.
  • Background in architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), or other project-intensive industries.
  • Master's degree in a related technical or business discipline.
  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP, CSM, Azure, AWS, or similar professional certifications.
