  • Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as required to meet project objectives.

  • Administer contracts and change orders, including negotiations, revisions, supplier and subcontractor management, bid evaluations, and contract awards.

  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure materials, equipment, and services are sourced and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Oversee installation activities, including lodge infrastructure, structural systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related construction components.

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with project and legislative standards.

  • Maintain project documentation, including budgets, schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, risk registers, as-built drawings, and change order logs.

  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings, progress review meetings, stakeholder updates, and project closeout activities.

  • Collaborate with Construction Managers and field teams to coordinate site activities, client communications, project changes, and final project documentation.

  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies to reduce project risks.

  • Monitor project performance, productivity, labor utilization, and expenditures to ensure operational and financial efficiency.

  • Support quality assurance and quality control programs to ensure projects meet Civeo standards and client expectations.

  • Conduct project audits, implement recommendations, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost savings.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Provide support to business development and estimating activities, including bid preparation, project planning, schedule development, and scope reviews.

  • Champion Civeo's safety culture by promoting compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements at all times.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams while fostering a collaborative, solutions-focused work environment.

  • Maintain regular communication with field operations and provide project support as required at remote and active construction sites.

Qualifications:

  • Management, or a related technical discipline. An equivalent combination of education, trade certification, and relevant experience will be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience within the construction industry, preferably managing modular, commercial, industrial, camp, or infrastructure projects.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) designation is considered an asset.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, procurement, contract administration, risk management, and budgeting.

  • Thorough understanding of local, provincial, and federal regulations, building codes, workplace compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Proven ability to analyze project scope, costs, schedules, and overall project performance.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.

  • Effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings, workshops, briefings, and stakeholder discussions.

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently and within a collaborative team environment.

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory 5-year driver's abstract.

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout Western Canada and work at remote project locations for short durations as required.
