Position Summary

Are you passionate about leading projects that improve warehouse, fulfillment, and construction operations? As a Project Manager, you will lead the design and implementation of technical, operational, and construction-related projects that support scalable distribution and eCommerce solutions across a nationwide network of facilities. Working closely with operations, engineering, IT, safety, HR, finance, and customer stakeholders, you will develop project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that drive operational excellence, support growth, and improve business performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Work Location:Remote

Work Schedule:First Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5pm with the ability to work outside of scheduled hours for any emergencies.

Work Travel:50% domestic travel depending on needs of the business and subject to change.

Competitive Compensation:A competitive total rewards package including an attractive annual salary$87,000-$116,000, performance-based bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of technical, operational, and construction-related projects from concept through execution.
  • Develop project implementation strategies, project plans, timelines, and communication plans to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings with internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and project teams.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, IT, safety, HR, finance, and customer teams to align project objectives and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Design and evaluate solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring operational feasibility, scalability, and compliance.
  • Conduct analytical assessments, benchmarking studies, and operational evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and value creation.
  • Prepare project presentations, status updates, business cases, and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Support facility expansion, construction, and infrastructure projects, including collaboration with contractors, consultants, permitting agencies, and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Integrate logistics information, operational data, and technology-driven solutions into engineered project designs.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining timelines, budgets, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is required for both internal and external candidates.
  • 2+ years of project management experience leading technical and construction-related projects. Equivalent consideration may be given to recent college graduates with a PMP certification and relevant experience in distribution, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment center, or construction environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience developing project plans, implementation schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and project documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project implementations and business operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing warehouse industrial construction projects, including site selection, permitting, zoning approvals, and facility startup activities.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, SAP, or related systems.
  • Experience conducting financial analysis, benchmarking studies, ROI assessments, and business case development.
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation, material handling systems, productivity modeling, and operational optimization.
