Position:Sales Engineer (Mechanical / Structural Engineering)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (1 hr lunch)

Working style: Direct hire, Full-time

Location: Durham, NC or Remote from home office within the US

Summary:

We are expanding strategically into North America with the launch of a new office in Durham, NC. As a founding member of this location, the Sales Engineer will play a critical role in both technical engineering support and business development. The ideal candidate will help grow the company by identifying potential customers and acting as a coordinator to facilitate work transfers from clients. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, client engagement, and leadership, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and collaboration.


Essential Duties:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients by understanding their technical needs and making effective proposals.

- Support business development activities such as trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.

- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.

- Contribute to the establishment and growth of new offices as a founding member.

- Inspect and advise on deliverables.

- Writing documents such as emails and reports.

- Accompanying on business trips within the US.

- Assisting in client development.

Qualifications:

- Ability to use MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.

- Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working for a Japanese company.

- Japanese (Beginner)

- Proficiency in 3D CAD.
