Job Title: Project Coordinator/Analyst
Location: Remote (work from home eligible)
Pay: $70,000 - $85,000 DOE
Company Overview: Celerity is a consulting firm specializing in utilities and energy sectors. We empower organizations by converting complex data into actionable intelligence to mitigate risk, optimize assets, and maximize project outcomes. Our background and expertise enable us to drive and deliver transformation and operational excellence for our clients.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Analyst to support the Technical Project Managers in driving day-to-day project execution. This role is highly hands-on with Jira and Confluence administration, reporting, and coordination activities, ensuring the project team has accurate, timely, and well-organized information to make decisions and keep implementations on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Jira & Confluence Administration
  • Set up, configure, and maintain Jira projects, boards (Scrum/Kanban), workflows, issue types, custom fields, and permission schemes for the project team
  • Create and maintain Confluence spaces, pages, templates, and project documentation repositories
  • Ensure data integrity within Jira — clean up duplicate/stale tickets, enforce naming conventions, manage backlog grooming support
  • Manage user access, roles, and project configurations in collaboration with IT/Jira admins
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day Jira/Confluence issues for project team members
Project Coordination
  • Support the Project Manager with scheduling, meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
  • Track action items and follow up with task owners to ensure on-time completion
  • Assist with resource tracking, timeline updates, and dependency management
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and client representatives
  • Support change management and UAT coordination activities as needed
  • Assist with onboarding new team members to project tools and processes
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, or similar role, ideally supporting technology implementation projects
  • Hands-on expertise administering and configuring Jira (workflows, boards, custom fields, permissions, JQL)
  • Strong working knowledge of Confluence (space/page setup, templates, documentation structure)
  • Proven ability to build reports and dashboards directly from Jira (native reporting, JQL filters, gadgets)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills — ability to turn raw data into clear, polished, stakeholder-ready presentations
  • Solid understanding of project management fundamentals (timelines, RAID logs, status reporting, milestone tracking)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with utilities clients or in the utilities/energy industry (e.g., AMI, GIS, OMS, ADMS, CIS implementations)
  • Familiarity with Atlassian ecosystem tools beyond Jira/Confluence (e.g., Jira Service Management, Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence macros/automation)
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies; Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar certification
  • CAPM or PMP certification (or actively pursuing)
  • Experience supporting SaaS/ERP/CIS technology implementations (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or utility-specific platforms)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Smartsheet, or MS Project
  • Experience working within a management consulting environment, including client-facing responsibilities
  • Basic understanding of change management principles (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR).
