Oasis Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our progressive mental health team. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes and assessments, focusing on functional and diagnostic evaluations.
• Collaborating with primary care providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Delivering focused therapeutic interventions to patients facing mental health challenges, ensuring responsive and effective care.
• Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Identifying at-risk patients and developing plans to mitigate health decline.
• Providing education and tools for self-management, empowering patients to actively engage in their recovery journey.
• Documenting patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Participating actively in team meetings to share insights and improve overall mental health services within the clinic.

Our clinics serve a diverse patient population, including individuals from various age groups, socio-economic backgrounds, and cultural contexts. Applicants must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling and hold an active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. The ideal candidate will have:

• Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral health strategies.
• A clear understanding of the impact of mental health issues on individuals, families, and the community at large.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess patient needs effectively and formulate appropriate interventions.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and producing relevant reports.
• Ability to build cooperative relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

While not mandatory, experience working within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or community health settings is highly desirable. Bi-lingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, is preferred as it enhances communication with our diverse clientele. A robust understanding of community resources and their utilization will also contribute significantly to this role.
