• This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to perform your duties from home while maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic.
• You will be part of a supportive team that includes mental health professionals, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, fostering collaboration and ongoing professional relationships.

• Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, diagnose patients using criteria from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), ensuring each treatment approach is individualized and culturally sensitive.
• Develop, implement, and continually evaluate the effectiveness of patient care plans that align with established therapeutic goals, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Utilize various clinical tools and methodologies to document treatment progress, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records as per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, case managers, and other healthcare providers, to promote a holistic approach to patient care that fosters positive mental health outcomes.
• Provide education and mentorship to students and interns pursuing careers in social work and mental health, enhancing the development of future practitioners.
• Actively participate in peer reviews and clinical collaboration sessions, contributing to team knowledge and clinical excellence.

Your primary focus will be individuals and families affected by cancer. This vulnerable patient population requires compassionate, specialized care that takes into account their unique psychological, social, and emotional needs during an incredibly challenging time in their lives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), allowing you to practice within the state of Florida.

• Experience in outpatient mental health therapy, particularly related to oncology or chronic illness.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions that enhance patient well-being.
• Previous experience working in a community health or clinical setting is highly desirable.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, with the potential for additional earnings based on performance and clinical outcomes.
