Integrated Program Management (IPM) Lead Role Overview
The IPM Lead serves as a player-coach, balancing strategic team leadership with hands-on tactical program management for key client initiatives. This role ensures seamless coordination across JLL service lines to deliver integrated real estate solutions that align with client business objectives. The position requires deep multi-disciplinary expertise gained from Fortune 500 account experience and comprehensive understanding of the real estate lifecycle to anticipate and mitigate risks before they become problematic.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and manage IPM direct reports through regular performance reviews, coaching, and career development discussions
  • Plan team capacity, allocate resources effectively, and manage workload distribution
  • Drive talent acquisition, retention strategies, and succession planning
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and accountability

Intake & Resource Governance (Weekly Huddle Leadership)
  • Own and lead the Weekly Huddle process, providing visibility to new opportunities and requests the real estate team is being asked to support
  • Evaluate incoming opportunities for complexity, resource requirements, synergies
  • Work with SL leaders to ensure projects are appropriately resourced before engagement occurs, eliminating start/stops due to unclear roles, responsibilities, and expectations
  • Ensure leadership is aware and aligned on project complexities and strategic considerations before customer commitments are made

Tactical Program Management (Player-Coach Model)
  • Directly manage high-complexity, high-visibility programs requiring strategic oversight and hands-on execution
  • Serve as single point of accountability for key client initiatives from business requirement development through facility occupancy
  • Translate business needs into program goals and project requirements for cross-functional delivery teams
  • Develop project charters that clarify priorities, business objectives, and success criteria
  • Manage master schedule milestones, executive-level communication, and approval management processes

Strategic Client Partnership
  • Establish and maintain "Trusted Advisor" relationships with key client stakeholders and account leadership
  • Align IPM team strategy, goals, and objectives with client business priorities
  • Elevate Real Estate Business Partners from order takers to strategic partners by owning program delivery
  • Identify opportunities that enhance value creation by understanding client business strategies

Service Line Integration & Delivery
  • Partner with service line leads (Transaction Management, Occupancy Planning, Project Management, Facility Management, Experience Services) to ensure seamless integrated solution delivery
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, resolve conflicts, and optimize client outcomes
  • Establish communication protocols, quality standards, and effective handoffs between service lines
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify gaps across integrated service delivery

Real Estate Lifecycle Risk Management
  • Leverage comprehensive understanding of the complete real estate lifecycle-from portfolio planning and transactions through design, construction, occupancy, and ongoing operations-to identify potential risks early
  • Anticipate downstream impacts of upstream decisions across service lines
  • Proactively surface and mitigate risks before they escalate, in accordance with client risk philosophy
  • Apply pattern recognition from multi-disciplinary experience to predict challenges and implement preventive measures
  • Ensure compliance with JLL standards, client requirements, contracts, and regulatory obligations

Financial & Operational Management
  • Drive value creation and cost optimization across service delivery
  • Provide executive-level dashboard reporting on team and portfolio performance
  • Ensure accurate project/program tracking and resource billing for team

Thought Leadership
  • Develop thought leadership content, case studies, and knowledge share sessions for the broader organization

Required Qualifications
Education
  • BA/BS in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or Business Administration required

Experience
  • 12+ years of progressive corporate real estate experience with deep multi-disciplinary expertise
  • Proven experience across multiple core service delivery areas : Transaction Management, Occupancy Planning, Project Management, Facility Management, Lease Administration
  • 5+ years in team leadership, people management, or P&L management roles
  • Demonstrated success as a player-coach, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on program execution
  • Expert-level understanding of the complete real estate lifecycle and interdependencies between planning, delivery, and operations phases
  • Experience in Construction Project Management and Program Management at enterprise scale
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance processes and drive organizational alignment

Estimated compensation for this position:

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
