As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Engage directly with clients, providing therapeutic interventions both via telehealth and in community settings, focusing on those experiencing significant mental illnesses or severe emotional disturbances.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, creating integrated care plans that enhance access to necessary services and improving communication among clients, family members, and other providers.
• Provide short, evidence-based screenings and assessments to identify client needs effectively, ensuring they receive appropriate follow-up care.
• Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques as per the unique needs of your client base.
• Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring clients are safe and receiving the immediate care they require.
• Participate in regular team meetings and committees aimed at improving our service delivery and maintaining high service quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and data submissions to comply with organizational guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Offer on-call support during specified hours, responding promptly to urgent client needs.

The clientele served by the COMC hospice center includes a diverse population, primarily individuals facing severe emotional challenges or mental health disorders. The LCSW will interact with clients from varied backgrounds and cultures, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in therapeutic approaches. A commitment to understanding and supporting underserved communities is vital, as many clients may come from low-income or marginalized demographics.

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field and possess a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential. Additionally, a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, demonstrating proficiency in mental health assessments, intervention strategies, and therapeutic practices. Candidates should also exhibit strong communication skills and cultural competence in working with diverse populations.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in hospice, palliative care, or community mental health settings. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention techniques is highly desirable. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
