Job description

Bradford Health Services provides addiction treatment programs, resources, and community for every aspect of recovery. Through our premier drug and alcohol rehab facilities across the Southeast, we provide affordable, evidence-based addiction treatment with proven outcomes at every level of care. We’re guided by unity and dedicated to meeting and treating every patient right where they are.

We are looking to add an Outpatient Program Manager to our dynamic team. The Outpatient Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant opening of new and de novo sober living facilities as well as PHP/IOP/MAT clinics efficient operations for current division outpatient services across multi-sites and multi-states.

The Outpatient Program Manager is a clinically licensed position. The ideal candidate would have the ability to be licensed in all states to conduct programming sessions for IOP/PHP services.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of outpatient services, including therapy sessions, program schedules, and staff performance
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) protocols
  • Oversee accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, census reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment practices
  • Supervise and support therapists working toward licensure, providing guidance and co-signing documentation as required
  • Coordinate with medical and mid-level providers to develop multidisciplinary care plans for patients
  • Regularly assess program effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen program offerings and partnerships
  • Assist with growth opportunities in sober living divisions and outpatient sites
  • Assisting with finding appropriate sites for de novo projects, researching regulations and completing policy and procedures, competencies, programming, etc., for de novo projects (IOP/PHP/MAT/Sober living)
  • Overall implementation process for opening de novo projects. Including but not limited to obtaining necessary licenses to serve as the lead to opening new IOP/PHP/MAT/Sober living sites
  • Participate in completion of presentations, training materials, competencies, policy and procedures, etc.
  • Oversee the regional offices as the Director when required
  • Provide support and guidance to the PHP/IOP/MAT offices attached to the Residential Treatment facilities on a quarterly basis as well as a follow-up visit
  • Oversee compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing input on operational initiatives, budgeting, proformas, and growth opportunities
  • Develop, implement, and manage operational metrics and policies for sober living and outpatient services, ensuring consistency and compliance across locations
  • Manage and optimize the admissions process across multiple locations
  • Regularly audit sober living and outpatient programs to identify areas for improvement and ensure best practices are followed
  • Collaborate with the Senior Regional Director/Vice President of Outpatient Operations to align facility practices with corporate objectives
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance and policy-related issues
  • Ensure the integrity of patient data and confidentiality, maintaining compliance with privacy regulations
  • Manage documentation related to policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to staff
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements such as The Joint Commission (TJC)
  • Conduct regular audits of patient records, documentation, and treatment plans to maintain quality and compliance
  • Participate in utilization review meetings, representing patient needs in both clinical and financial considerations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical operations and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Conduct onsite visits and internal audits, assisting with corrective actions as necessary


Education/Experience

  • Masters level licensed clinical therapist (LICSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Able to be licensed in all 50 states to conduct programming sessions for IOP/PHP services
  • Minimum of 3 years in healthcare operations, compliance, policy management, supervision/management of staff and/or MH/SUD PHP and IOP outpatient services
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • If in recovery, must have two (2) years of continuous, verifiable sobriety
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance regulations, including HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other outpatient standards
  • Proven ability to manage, develop and implement policies that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and report on compliance metrics and ensure adherence across facilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within the organization
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with facility staff and leadership teams


Work Environment/Travel Expectations

  • Ability to travel between multiple locations, with overnight stays on a quarterly basis for all sites assigned by VP of operations. Sites may vary based on needs of company
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations, with overnight stays. Travel can be up to 75-80%.
  • Regular attendance and active participation in corporate meetings and training sessions
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods while overseeing clinical operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment may involve exposure to emotionally charged situations
