This position is entirely remote but requires frequent engagement with clients and school staff via virtual meetings and online platforms. As a school-based LCSW, you will work closely with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive the support they need. • Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the social, emotional, and psychological needs of children and their families.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care practices.
• Develop personalized service plans that align with each client’s unique goals and objectives, ensuring that interventions are tailored to their specific challenges.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and facilitate access to necessary resources, including educational support and community services.
• Collaborate with educational institutions, local organizations, and government agencies to strengthen service delivery and community support systems.
• Engage in program evaluation and improvement processes, assisting in grant writing and reporting as necessary to secure funding for vital services.
• Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development training to stay current with best practices in social work and community engagement.

This position will involve working primarily with school-aged children from diverse backgrounds, including those who face economic hardship, trauma, or social challenges. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated knowledge of social justice, advocacy strategies, trauma-informed care, and community resources.
• Exemplary communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a capacity for empathy and active listening.

• Previous experience working within a nonprofit organization or a school-based setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a proven track record of successful client engagement.
• Experience in community outreach, program development, or policy advocacy will be considered an asset.
