This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility and comfort in your work environment. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, aligning with standard business hours to facilitate structured sessions with clients. Using a variety of digital platforms, counselors will engage with clients, making the most of technology to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gather comprehensive information regarding clients’ history, current challenges, and goals, tailoring each treatment plan accordingly.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions online, using engaging methodologies to foster connection and trust with clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide holistic care and ensure all aspects of a client’s mental health needs are met.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars, contributing to the enhancement of clinical practices.
• Actively engage in program evaluation and quality assurance initiatives, providing suggestions to optimize service delivery models and client outcomes.

Your clients will predominantly include individuals dealing with a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a counselor, your role is crucial in establishing a safe, respectful, and empathetic environment where clients feel comfortable to express their concerns and work collaboratively towards their therapeutic goals.

• A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and active state license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) is mandatory for this role.
• At least two years of direct experience in providing mental health services to individuals facing emotional challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate quick rapport-building and effective communication with clients.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms is preferred to streamline client interactions.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy will be advantageous.
