How much do remote program evaluation jobs pay per year?
What is a Remote Program Evaluation job?
A Remote Program Evaluation job involves assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and impact of programs from a remote location. Professionals in this role collect and analyze data, generate reports, and provide recommendations to improve program outcomes. They may use surveys, interviews, and statistical methods to evaluate performance. This position is common in nonprofits, corporations, and government agencies that need to measure program success. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with evaluation methodologies are essential for success in this role.
What are some typical responsibilities of a Remote Program Evaluation professional?
As a Remote Program Evaluation professional, your primary responsibilities include designing and implementing evaluation plans, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and generating comprehensive reports on program effectiveness. You may also facilitate virtual interviews or focus groups, collaborate with stakeholders to refine evaluation objectives, and use digital tools for data visualization and communication. The role often involves working independently, but you will regularly coordinate with program managers, data analysts, and other team members to ensure evaluation goals are met. This structure allows for flexible work hours while still contributing valuable insights to drive program improvements.
What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Program Evaluation position, and why are they important?
To thrive in Remote Program Evaluation, you need strong analytical, research, and data interpretation skills, typically supported by a background in social sciences, public health, education, or related fields. Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, statistical software (such as SPSS or R), and data management tools is highly valuable, as are certifications like the Certified Evaluation Professional (CEP). Excellent written and verbal communication, self-motivation, and attention to detail enhance your ability to collaborate across remote teams and present findings effectively. These skills ensure accurate program assessments, actionable recommendations, and successful outcomes in a virtual working environment.

Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Corporate Development on the US Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Deloitte businesses in refining acquisition priorities aligned to growth strategy
- Conducting market research and qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform target identification and pipeline development

The Team
This position is part of Deloitte's US Corporate Development (USCD) function. USCD plays a critical role in shaping Deloitte's future by driving the firm's inorganic and organic growth agenda. The team partners with senior leaders across the firm to evaluate, prioritize, and execute strategic investments that strengthen Deloitte's market position and long-term growth trajectory.
USCD operates at the center of strategy, investment execution, and enterprise transformation. Team members work in a high-impact, high-visibility environment, supporting some of the firm's most significant and complex growth initiatives.
In this role, you'll join a cohort of Consultants/Senior Consultants for USCD. As part of this dynamic resourcing pool, you'll be deployed to high priority initiatives and projects across the Corporate Development ecosystem, helping the team adapt to evolving market needs and prioritize the most important areas for the firm.
This is an internal, non-client-facing role with limited travel as needed for business meetings. The team operates in a remote environment, with flexibility to work from home or a local Deloitte office.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, or investment evaluation
- Experience developing presentations for senior stakeholders
- Experience supporting communications for senior stakeholders
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Experience with market sizing, expert interviews, and survey design
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, investment evaluation, or corporate finance
- Experience working within Deloitte's business structure and internal processes
- Experience using artificial intelligence tools such as Enterprise GPT or Copilot to support research and productivity
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,600 to $157200.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
