Position Summary
The Product Operations Specialist supports the administration and delivery of live continuing professional education (CPE) webinars and virtual learning events. This role combines technical production, event administration, and customer support to help ensure each event is prepared, delivered, and
completed accurately and professionally. Following training, the Product Operations Specialist independently manages assigned events through the production lifecycle, including event preparation,
live delivery, technical support, quality monitoring, and post-event administration. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, organization, reliability, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare, administer, and deliver assigned webinars and virtual learning events in accordance with established procedures and production standards.
• Complete event setup, pre-production testing, and readiness checks to minimize technical and operational issues.
• Monitor live events and identify, troubleshoot, or appropriately escalate technical and production issues.
• Provide timely technical support to presenters, learners, and other event participants.
• Respond to customer inquiries through phone, chat, and email in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Complete post-event activities, including attendance processing, quality assurance, reporting, documentation, and content distribution.
• Maintain accurate event information, production records, and internal documentation.
• Follow standard operating procedures while exercising sound judgment within the scope of the role.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support successful event execution and communication.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve production quality, efficiency, and the customer experience.
• Participate in evening, weekend, and extended-hours event coverage as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Windows, macOS, and common mobile operating systems.
• Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Video or media-editing applications.
• Customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Standard audio, video, camera, and microphone technologies.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in communications, media production, information technology, audio/visual technology, or a related field preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience in live production, webinar delivery, technical support, customer service, or another fast-paced operational environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a customer-facing or time-sensitive setting preferred. Work Environment and Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and working at a computer.
• Ability to remain at a workstation for extended periods during scheduled shifts and live event coverage.
• Ability to regularly use standard computer hardware and equipment.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, occasional extended hours, and adjusted schedules based on production needs.
