What We Need

Corpay Inc. is seeking a Product Owner within our Corporate Payments division to drive clear, outcome-focused delivery within a Scrum team. This role owns backlog priorities and delivery outcomes, translating business goals and customer needs into actionable work that produces measurable value.

The Product Owner serves as the single accountable owner for intent translation, connecting strategy, customer problems, and execution in close partnership with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders. You will report directly to Senior Director of Product Delivery and regularly collaborate with the team and other departments.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Own Product Intent and Backlog

  • Translate business goals and customer needs into clear, actionable backlog items
  • Ensure every item is tied to a defined outcome and measurable value
  • Maintain a well-prioritized, continuously refined backlog

 

Drive Delivery and Decisions

  • Serve as the final decision maker on scope, priorities, and trade-offs
  • Balance short-term delivery with longer-term product outcomes

Lead Team Alignment

  • Align the team on priorities, scope, and expected outcomes
  • Drive clarity and accountability across the delivery lifecycle

 

Leverage Modern Tools and Practices

  • Use of AI to improve story clarity, acceptance criteria, and delivery efficiency
  • Partner with engineering to ensure work is structured for effective execution and validation through AI code generation

 

Partner Across Stakeholders

  • Align priorities across Product, Engineering, and Business partners
  • Manage expectations and trade-offs to maximize delivered value

 

Ensure Quality and Outcomes

  • Validate readiness for release in partnership with Engineering
  • Track progress against defined success measures and adjust as needed

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Owner, Product Management, or similar roles
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into structured backlog items
  • Experience in AP Automation, Commercial Card, Expense Management, and API integrations
