The Business Analyst II (BA) is a leader and strategic partner, bridging business needs and advanced technical solutions. They analyze complex processes, proactively identifying areas for significant improvement and efficiency gains, and translating these into comprehensive requirements and actionable strategic plans. BA II provide these services to our business partners and then lead Agile teams to document requirements, develop process models, and ensure the technology solutions strategically align with desired objectives. The focus of this position is to work closely with our business units to gain an in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. This role is key to understanding and documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges while creating efficiencies. The Business Analyst II is responsible for leading the review of assigned business processes end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks and needs.

We are looking for someone to:
  • Lead thorough analyses of business processes, identifying strategic opportunities for improvement and automation and making the necessary changes to any documented procedures.
  • Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Advise on the design, development, assessment, and implementation of organizational management projects, policies, and/or procedures.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks.
  • Provide management with strategic solutions to increase efficiency and achieve operational goals.
  • Acts as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate potential projects, focusing on strategic alignment and impact.
  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) across multiple areas of focus to provide guidance on potential work being introduced and for the lean business case. Understanding upstream and downstream impacts.
  • As the SME of area of focus, partner with and lead Agile teams to define requirements and test cases.
  • Validate that a solution based on the requirements will meet customer needs and achieve the business objectives.
  • Partner with Agile team to identify test cases that meet the User Acceptance Testing.
  • Mentor and guide junior business analysts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We need someone who has:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with 4+ years of experience in business analysis, business operations, or similar roles.
  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for business improvement.
  • Ability to document and apply business requirement guidelines to team projects
  • Proficiency in cross-team and client collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and systems, with the ability to see the big picture and consider multiple perspectives.
  • Ability to elicit information through interactions and observations and then translate those into meaningful requirements for solutioning.
  • Ability to write simple queries and sample/select large data sets from disparate data sources using SQL or other tools.
  • Ability to obtain skills and knowledge of analysis, design and construction methods, trends, and practices.
  • Results-oriented self-starter with ability and willingness to learn how systems and processes work and why they work the way they do.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the uses and operation of systems and provide support of those systems to business users while serving their assigned areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group (management, technical staff, and subject matter experts). Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and with business customers.
  • Excellent negotiation skills. Exhibits courage to challenge requests and positively offer alternative solutions.
  • Strong logical thinking. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
