What is a remote product operations analyst?

A Remote Product Operations Analyst is a professional who supports a company's product team by streamlining processes, analyzing product data, and ensuring smooth communication between different departments—all while working remotely. Their main responsibilities include optimizing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and helping teams implement best practices. They play a crucial role in bridging gaps between product management, engineering, marketing, and customer support to ensure the success of product initiatives. Working remotely, they leverage digital tools and data analytics to monitor performance and provide actionable insights, enabling organizations to deliver better products efficiently.

How does a remote product operations analyst typically collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely?

As a Remote Product Operations Analyst, collaboration with cross-functional teams such as product managers, engineers, and customer support is often facilitated through virtual communication tools like Slack, Zoom, and project management platforms. Regular stand-up meetings, asynchronous updates, and shared documentation ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Building strong relationships and maintaining clear, proactive communication are essential for efficiently coordinating product launches and process improvements in a remote setting.

Ready to help us transform healthcare? Bring your true colors to blue.

What we need

The Product Manager, Integrated Products & Funding Strategies, supports the development, enhancement, implementation, and ongoing management of innovative healthcare products and solutions designed to improve affordability, quality, member experience, and healthcare outcomes. Specifically, this role will support Consumer Directed Healthcare (CDH) products, such as Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), as well as other funding strategies used within the health insurance industry.

The Product Manager may also support other healthcare offerings across a broad portfolio of products intended to meet evolving employer and market needs, as well as improve affordability, quality, member experience, and healthcare outcomes. Some examples may include provider network-based products as well as consumer navigation and engagement solutions.

The Product Manager partners closely with external vendors as well as cross-functional teams including Sales, Network Management, Clinical, Operations, Finance, Actuarial, Marketing, Digital, and Technology to support product strategy, design, implementation, operational readiness, and ongoing enhancement initiatives.

This position is eligible for the Flex persona. This may change based on business need.

  • Support the development, enhancement, implementation, and management of CDH healthcare products and other funding solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support product strategy and execution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned products.
  • Support business case development, KPI tracking, and financial and operational analysis.
  • Gather and document business requirements and support solution development for product enhancements or development of new products and services.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a product expert; support Sales, broker, and account management efforts through presentations, training, and RFP responses.
  • Contribute to product positioning materials and internal communications.
  • Monitor product performance, market feedback, and operational considerations to identify new areas of opportunity or enhancements.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across teams.

We're Looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare, health insurance products, provider networks, or healthcare delivery systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including senior management.
  • Comfortable independently problem solving and escalating as appropriate for strategic guidance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex healthcare concepts clearly and effectively to all levels.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn and grow within a product management environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management practices and tools (such as JIRA and Microsoft Project) is helpful but not required.
  • Experience working with or managing vendors in the medical, health insurance products, and/or financial spaces is helpful but not required.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-6 years of relevant healthcare, product, operations, consulting, or business experience.
  • Experience with health insurance products and services.
